Who we are?

We are a group of students from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, whose main goal is common development of our knowledge and skills in subject of blasting techniques and civil explosives.

What we do?

We develope our knowledge by performing researches and didactic projects, participating in trainings, lectures and technological field-trips in cooperation with domestic and foreign companies & research institutions.

Blasting Techniques and Explosives Student Research Group Detonator

Detonator Student Research Group was founded in January 2017 at the Department of Surface Mining AGH-UST as the initiative of 10 students in they final year of undergraduate mining and geology studies (engineer's degree). Activity of BT&E-SRG "Detonator" is associated with scientific work on widely defined blasting techniques and civil use of explosives in various sectors of industry - underground & surface mining, civil engineering (demolition works) and environment shaping. We also cooperate with domestic and foreign organizations and companies involved in usage, manufacture and testing explosives.
